The test aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world. The TKT can be taken at any stage in a teacher's career, and is also ideal for those who have not yet started teaching. We offer the TKT Preparation Course in Brighton.

The TKT comprises three modules:

All TKT candidates will be automatically entered for Module 1, and can then choose the number of additional TKT modules they wish to prepare for. Candidates will prepare for the test(s) through input sessions and directed study, and will take them during the final week of their course.
